6x Raspberry Pi 1U rackmount, thing, 3d printed build

    Given the amount of power a Raspberry Pi is packing i've decided to move some server images over to the Raspberry Pi platform. Nothing very intensive. Home stuff. Like the RADIUS server, PLEX backup server, Shinobi CCTV, and a couple others. I will document all that is to come below;

    2-1-2020; We haven't really used this Carbon fiber fillament too often (6-10x) and although it is strong.... it is not forgiving when it comes to temperatures. Bonding has issues if nozzle temperature is not >= 220. Will have to do some pre-installation heat gun repairs. Unfortunately the weller old-er soldering iron / AND plastic welder broke during COVID days. 1u

    2-1-2020; All the carbon fiber is gone. >< Go figure huh. Had to use this metalic purple we had laying around. I'll call this Rack 1.0 when it's all said-n-done. It leaves from for improvement. 1u

    2-2-2020; All done. YT video coming later this week showing all the behind the scenes stuffs that made this one project i'd gladly send over to one of our manufacturers. Opted out of using the longer threaded rods and instead fused the individual sections together, not very pretty-like, with fiberglass rods running down the length of both ends. Rack ears were then fastened with bolts to finish it all up. 1u
